Selling/Donating Gear for the Bike Swap

DROP OFF: Boundary Bay Alley, 7am - 10am, May 7th
PICK UP: Boundary Bay Mountain Room, 6pm - 8pm, May 7th

Those who are interested can drop off any donations or gear to be sold in the alley behind Boundary Bay Brewery on May 7th from 7am - 10am.

Our team of volunteers will assist you to register each item, tag it with the name of the seller and keep track of the number of items sold under your name.

​

Checks (total of 75% of each sale) and unsold gear can be picked up Boundary Bay Mountain Room, May 7th from 6pm - 8pm.

​

Shifting Gears uses the remaining 25% of each sale to break down barriers that prevent all women from getting outside.

We have limited space for bikes so we ask all individuals looking to sell a bike(s) to please pre-register. Thank you!

More than 25 items?

If you are a seller and have more than 25 items, please contact Shifting Gears for early registration of items. 

Acceptable Gear

  • Bikes (must be rideable)

  • Bike components

    • Rims & Tires OK

  • Accessories​​

    • Panniers​ & bike bags

    • Bike lights (must work)

    • water bottle holders

  • Small backpacks for bike day trips

  • Clothing in good condition

  • Shoes in good condition

Gear Not Accepted

  • NO Bike frames

  • The following bike components

    • NO Cogs

    • NO Chains

    • NO Tubes

  • NO waterbottles​​​​​​

  • Clothing that is broken, no longer waterproof or wind proof.

    • NO shammies​

  • NO helmets​
